The Classic Edge Titanium HDX outdoor wood furnace is the most efficient outdoor wood furnace that is EPA 2020 Step 2 Certified. Packed full of features that no other furnace offers, the Central Boiler Classic Edge is also the best value on the market offering more convenience, safety and savings than any other method of wood heat.

Constructed of titanium-enhanced stainless steel, the firebox has superior corrosion resistance and excellent heat transfer performance. This allows loading the firebox for longer burn times and burning some wood that is less than perfectly seasoned.

Stainless steel firebox provides superior corrosion resistance, allows for longer burn times and extends life of the furnace.

Easy View® heat exchanger with hinged door provides full access without the use of tools. Maintenance is minimal (usually only requiring a few minutes a week).


Air Control is imperative for the cleanest, most efficient burn.
  • Stepper Motors - High voltage solenoids have been replaced with low voltage stepper motors to avoid surges and allows for infinite fine tuning of the three stages of air. Stepper motors use less power than other air control methods and never need adjustment or replacement due to wear.
  • Afterburner - Super-heated gases enter the round chamber of the Afterburner and swirl in a turbulent vortex, creating a fireball and allowing enough time for complete combustion to occur.
  • Turbulators cause air turbulence and better contact with the heat exchanger walls.

FireStar® combustion controller with on-board wi-fi, constantly monitors how the wood is burning and adds air where and when it’s needed for the cleanest, most efficient combustion.
  • Easy Refire - Saves the coal bed for quick, easy restarts after reloading with any kind of firewood.
  • Burn Time Monitor - Helps to estimate when you need to add wood.
  • Clean Reload - Reduces smoke when you open the firebox door to add wood.
  • Text or Email Alerts - Be notified when it’s time to add wood.
